Description There are five types of domesticated herd animals in Mongolia: sheep, goat, cattle (yaks and cows), horse, and camel. This dataset has their numbers and percent share from 1970-2017. This is important as desertification and land degradation are key issues today in Mongolia. Acknowledgements This data comes from the Mongolian National Statistical Office (1212.mn & nso.mn).
