Context Between the years of 1982 and 2017, the state of Texas has executed approximately 543 inmates. During this time, the TDCJ(Texas Department of Criminal Justice) recorded data regarding each execution. Content Each row in the data set includes the executed inmate's age, last statement, date of his/her execution, first and last name, race and county.
